I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology and an emphasis in Neurobiology. My current research interest is using CyTOF to understand the evolution of the systemic immune system in response to acute ischemic strokes to establish a chronology of stroke recovery. I am currently pursuing an MD degree at UC Davis School of Medicine. I will be in the lab full time this summer studying the effects of chronic periodontitis on the systemic immune system.
Hobbies: I love traveling, be it road trips or overseas. I’m an avid coffee consumer and have delusions of one day becoming a top-class barista. My interests including jogging and exploring (aka getting lost), the latter being more of a byproduct than an intention.
