Dorien Feyaerts, PhDPostdoctoral Fellow, Anesthesiology, Perioperative & Pain Medicine

I received my PhD degree under supervision of Prof. Irma Joosten at the Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen, the Netherlands in the field of reproductive immunology. We showed that the human uterine mucosae harbor a unique composition of tissue-specific
immune cells that change over the course of pregnancy and can be influenced by immunosuppressive drugs.

In March 2020, I joined the team of Prof. Gaudilliere as a postdoctoral researcher where I’ll use high-dimensional mass cytometry and imaging mass cytometry to examine the systemic and local immune dynamics of healthy and complicated pregnancies.
